Pakistan vs South Africa:
Pakistan v. South Africa score, T20 World Cup 2022: After winning, Pakistan (4 points) jumped to 3rd place in Group 2 while South Africa (5 points) stayed second behind leaders India (6 points). Shadab Khan transformed the state of the match with both his batting and bowling, as his Pakistani teammates rallied behind him to claim a crucial victory in Sydney against South Africa on Thursday.
In addition to scoring 22 runs off of 13 balls with the bat, Shadab also set up Pakistan for an eventual total of 185 through two wicket-taking deliveries from 8 overs of bowling. This left South Africa chasing down a revised target of 142 within 14 deliveries, but they eventually fell short and lost by 10 runs. This has left Pakistan still firmly in contention for qualifying into the semi-finals – which they are now all but guaranteed to do since they have won three out of their five matches so far this tournament.
Both the Pakistani and South African teams gathered in front of us to sing their respective national anthems.

PAK 31/1 (4)
Lungi Ngidi steps up to bowl, but Babar Azam takes his time at the other end. He cuts in front of Mohammed Haris who is on strike and gets an edge that goes just past a diving fielder. Babar Azam needs to find his form quickly or else he could be out early.
PAK 38/2 (4.4)
Good captaincy by Temba Bavuma led to a successful appeal for LBW. Mohammed Haris had been largely absent so far in the match but was back with an emphatic six just when they needed him most.
PAK 40/3 (5.2)
Shan Masood walks up to bat at last. Lungi Ngidi pitches a slower one and Babar swings but misses it. OUT! Rabada catches the ball in a brilliant dive as it flies back toward him.

PAK 95/5 (13)
IN THE AIR!!!!!! Aiden Markram commits an error that costs South Africa six runs. Pakistan gradually gaining ground in this match of cricket and has been attacking for quite some time now. As Shadab steps up to bat, Wayne Parnell returns to the attack. Six runs! This time from Iftikhar down the ground. Some light rain falls now too, but not enough for anyone to worry about it.

Pakistan vs South Africa Highlights 2nd Inning
SA 1/0 (0.1)
Quinton de Kock and Temba Bavuma will start the pursuit of Pakistan from their own half, as Shaheen Shah Afridi prepares to bowl the first over. A single ball has already been delivered; South Africa is off to a good start.
SA 1/1 (1)
Shaheen Shah Afridi is not bowling at an express pace but he has maintained perfect line and length. There is no doubt that this is a tough pitch to bat on, oh! But how did he miss the stumps? Out! Quinton de Kock departs early.
SA 15/1 (2)
After being dismissed for only 16 runs over two overs, South Africa was now one down. Afridi’s early strike had given Pakistan the much-needed advantage but Captain Bavuma and his partner Rossouw looked in good form. If these batsmen continued to show signs of life, Pakistan could be outplayed.
SA 16/2 (2.5)
Shaheen Afridi strikes again – Rossouw departs! Third Man- Naseem Shah took a simple catch. Pakistan is on top and South Africa is in big trouble now. Aiden Markram steps up next to bat for his country.
36/2 (4)
Over for South Africa! An average start at best to be honest. Haris Rauf hasn’t done too well so far as the Proteas have only scored 20 runs off it. Markram and Bavuma are taking advantage of Rossouw’s absence, but they need more if they want to stay in this match.
SA 39/2 (5)
Brilliant bowling over from Naseem Shah as he conceded only three runs and made the South African batters work for the runs. He also got his line and length spot-on, a valuable contribution after Afridi’s spell was ended prematurely.
SA 48/2 (6)
9 runs came from Mohammad Wasim’s opening over. South Africa is doing their best to compete with the run rate and capitalize on any loose balls they receive. Proteas are now at 48/2 after 6 overs of play.
SA 65/2 (7)
Another big wicket for the South African team! One player was dismissed and another took 37 runs in just two overs before he was bowled out. The Proteas are back in this game after one-third of their innings were played, but they still need to pick up momentum and keep taking wickets if they want to win this match.
SA 66/4 (7.3)
OUT!! Shadab Khan has finally got that very important breakthrough for Pakistan.
SA 69/4 (9)
Well, the sky has opened up and covers are all over the ground. As per the DLS method, South Africa is behind by 16 runs; they should be on 85 instead. Currently, they’re at 69/4 after 9 overs of play.
RAINING! Stops play
As Per DSL Method South Africa needed 73 runs in the last 5 overs to win
Shadab Khan will begin today’s proceedings for Pakistan. Play resumes now!
SA 83/4 (10)
13 runs to come from the over – 10 over gone and South Africa are at 83/4
SA 95/5 (11)
Klassen is sky-high up in the air and Wasim takes a great catch when pressured. Afridi gets his third wicket this inning and one of the regulars leaves for Africa. The score has now gotten tighter for the Africans . Wayne Parnell steps out to bat with Stubbs next inning . There are 12 runs from that over.
SA 99/6 (12)
Parnell departs and Wasim grabs his man out as the Proteas lose their sixth wicket. Pakistan is on top, and South Africa is now at 99/6 and needs 43 runs from twelve balls.
SA 101/7 (13)
It seems as though Pakistan has won the game due to some brilliant death-over bowling from Naseem Shah.
SA 108/9 (14)
Pakistan kept itself alive in the Tournament by winning this game against South Africa by 33 runs.
End of 2nd Inning
With the victory, Pakistan (4 points) climbed up to 3rd place in Group 2 while South Africa (5 points) stayed second behind leaders India (6 points).
